Illuminating the Shadow: New Moon Solar Eclipse

Greetings Luminaries,

We are days after the solar eclipse and new moon in Aries. The time is ripe with massive opportunity. We have entered a portal of retrospection, introspection, and visioning. Days before the eclipse on the 29th, I felt the need to regroup and assess. I had this feeling of completion and that I needed to take an honest look and get clear about where I was and where I was going. I’ve been doing just that. Taking a deep look at where I’ve been, what mindset and behavioral patterns led me here and where do I want to be. This is the energy of this new moon. It is initiating us into a new paradigm of how we want to show up in the world, and how we want to relate to others.

Questions bubbling up right now are what do you most value right now? What do you want to cultivate? I implore you to answer the call. Get crystal clear about your intentions and as Melanie Beckler says, surrender to the divine flow of possibility for your life.” Just sit with that for a moment.

An eclipsed new moon is a super-charged new beginning, so expect the unexpected and be open, adaptable, fluid, and flexible. Really allow yourself to be divinely guided. Slow down and listen. Get out in nature and listen, truly listen to your powerful heart and to the wisdom of your effervescent soul.

Another major theme of this eclipse season is stepping away from the persona of Aries that modern culture promotes. This obsession with competitiveness, individuality, being the best, constantly striving, never failing, and exceptionalism. Now is the time to move away from patterns that no longer serve and come home to ourselves so we may connect to our center, and bring in more life and creativity.

When we illuminate the shadow and allow the radiant truth of where we truly are at, we can begin to answer important questions like; where am I out of alignment and not living my full potential? Where is growth needed and what tools and resources are required in order to grow? Having the courage to step into the imagination space and hold a vision for your life is truly powerful and transcendental. All that vision space holding and processing needs a lot of integration time. Allow yourself space and grace.
